HEAD, BASE AND EMBEDDED PART:
The entire assembly is made out of GG-20 pearlitic cast iron. The weights are:
- Head: 6 Kg.
- Base: 7 Kg.
- Embedded part: 11 Kg.
VERTICAL SUPPORT:
1. Stainless bollard
Tube in 3 mm thick AISI 316L polished stainless steel, with an external diameter of 101.6 mm.
2. Iron bollard:
4 mm thick hot-galvanised DIN 2440 steel tube with an external diameter of 3".
SPRING PROTECTOR:
Made out of 3 mm thick DIN 2440 steel tube with an external diameter of 3".
SPRING:
Made out of F-1430 steel. Dimensions: 300x78.5x16 mm.
NUTS AND BOLTS:
In A4 stainless steel.
HEAD AND BASE:
One coat of rust-proof powder primer, rich in zinc. Finished with a polyester resin-based powder coating especially designed for outdoor use.

One coat of high-adherence primer, phosphochromate process with polyvinyl butyral and phenolic resin with a high content in zinc chromate acting as a rust-proof pigment. Finished with a polyester resin-based powder coating especially designed for outdoor use.

EMBEDDED PART AND SPRING PROTECTOR:
One coat of rust-proof powder primer, rich in zinc.
Approximate weight: 23.2 Kg.
The mechanism works by compression on the spring lodged in the embedded part, and it operates when the bollard is subjected to a pressure of 60 Kg or more.
Tests performed in the DAE laboratory:
- The bollard starts to bend when a force of 60 Kg or more is applied.
- The bollard was not damaged after being bent 45º 1,200 consecutive times.
